We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Attorney to join our dynamic legal team at Jobot. As a leading law firm, we provide top-notch legal representation to our clients across 29 counties in the Atlanta Metropolitan area.

About the Role

  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal matters.
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.
  • Review and analyze insurance policies to provide advice on insurance coverage matters.
  • Handle insurance defense cases, working diligently to protect the interests of our clients.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
  • Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
  • Negotiate settlements of civil disputes in the best interest of our clients.
  • Supervise legal assistants and paralegals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry trends that may affect our clients.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field, with a focus on insurance defense, insurance coverage, and civil litigation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to resolve complex legal issues.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in legal software and technology.
