Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other invasive procedures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and report patient vital signs and other relevant data
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in nursing or higher
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of hire
  • Experience in a cardiac cath lab or similar setting preferred
