Job Summary

As a Sr. Copywriter, Bilingual Spanish, you will be responsible for producing bold, strategic, and persuasive messages in all media for Agency clients. You will write advertising copy from conception to completion for print, broadcast, and online media to promote the sale of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret briefs and information to build creative communication messages.
  • Generate ideas and create advertising copy with close attention to strategic accuracy and brand personality.
  • Collaborate with senior art personnel to ensure the creation of consistent advertising messages.
  • Participate in shaping strategy and detect vital disconnects to inform senior creative personnel.
  • Deliver presentations to senior creative and/or account personnel.
  • Maintain communication with senior art personnel concerning the status of jobs.
  • Create and complete projects on time and within budget constraints.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in copywriting.
  • Bilingual Spanish is required.
  • Ability to communicate well in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to present in Spanish and English.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the LatinX culture.
  • Understanding of the advertising business.
  • Keeps abreast of contemporary visual practices throughout the country and internationally.
  • Imaginative writer with proven experience in various formats.
  • Familiar with production requirements, including time factors and cost implications.
  • Observant in the LatinX marketplace and able to make connections with targeted consumers.
  • Resourceful and able to problem-solve effectively.
  • Familiar with Hispanic-targeted media and understanding of its strengths and weaknesses.
  • Team player with good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communicator with error-free written skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time.
  • Advanced copywriting skills.
  • Collaborates well with art directors and creative supervisors.
  • Computer programs (Microsoft Word, Keynote, PowerPoint).
