Key Responsibilities:
In alignment with our values, the Musculoskeletal Provider is accountable for delivering high-quality healthcare within Fast Pace Health's service scope while ensuring optimal patient satisfaction.
The Provider must thrive in a team-oriented setting, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, adept at diagnosing and managing a variety of musculoskeletal issues, and delivering comprehensive care from diagnosis through rehabilitation.
Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a rapidly evolving practice environment is essential.They must possess the ability to respond swiftly and accurately to changes in patient conditions or treatment responses and are responsible for delivering outstanding patient service.
What You Will Accomplish:
Evaluate and diagnose fractures through clinical assessments and imaging studies.
Administer non-surgical fracture reductions.
Oversee and manage the healing process, modifying treatment plans as necessary.
Perform joint aspirations to diagnose conditions such as joint effusions or infections.
Administer intra-articular injections for pain relief and inflammation reduction using ultrasound guidance.
Apply casts, splints, or orthopedic braces to stabilize and immobilize various musculoskeletal conditions.
Ensure proper alignment and immobilization of injured body parts.
Educate patients on cast care and potential complications.
Review and interpret X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging studies.
Collaborate with radiologists and orthopedic surgeons to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Determine the appropriateness of surgical versus non-operative approaches.
Provide patients with comprehensive information regarding their orthopedic conditions.
Offer guidance on home exercises, physical therapy, and activity modifications.
Address patient inquiries and concerns, ensuring they comprehend their treatment plans.
Work alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and rehabilitation.
Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to establish suitable diagnoses.
Deliver exceptional patient care through in-person and
virtual
diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on patient-centered care, safety, cost-effectiveness, and reliable information.
Experience Requirements and Preferences::
1+ year of outpatient experience as a Musculoskeletal Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner/FNP/APRN)
1+ year of experience with bracing, casting, splinting, and injections
