Job Title: Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at the University of Virginia Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.

Job Summary:

The Radiology Technologist will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results. Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe positioning
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
  • 1+ year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
