About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing mobile diagnostic imaging procedures in a variety of settings and locations to support the diagnostic and treatment of disease and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Mobile Diagnostic Imaging Procedures: Travel to various locations to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.
  • Operate Portable Radiologic Equipment: Safely operate and maintain portable radiologic equipment, including x-ray generators and associated equipment.
  • Prepare and Position Patients: Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Collect and Verify Patient Information: Collect and verify all required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures.
  • Process and Transmit Images: Process images and transmit them to radiologists or requesting physicians in a timely manner.
  • Maintain Equipment and Vehicles: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and ensure that company vehicles are well-stocked and in good condition.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Act professionally and exhibit courtesy, friendliness, and a positive attitude when interacting with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Meet State-Specific and Federal Requirements: Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and meet all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist: Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R).
  • Ability to Lift and Move Equipment: Be able to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment.
