We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Radiation Oncology team at Novant Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing radiation treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Provide education to patients and caregivers on radiation treatment, side effects, and skin care instructions.
- Assist with special procedures, including monitoring patients during and after treatment, and administering IV fluids and medications as needed.
- Participate in cross-training with other providers to enhance patient care and support.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
- One year of relevant experience, preferred.
- Advanced certifications as required by the facility.
