Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist Oncology

Novant Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Oncology to join our team. As a key member of our outpatient oncology pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in delivering optimal medication management across all dimensions of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical review, entry, and modification of oncology treatment plans
  • Oncology order verification, hazardous and non-hazardous sterile admixture check
  • Partnership with clinic providers and nursing to provide remarkable patient care
  • Proficiency with equipment and software
  • Resident and student precepting
  • Participation in committees such as P&T, tumor boards, and shared governance
  • Order set review and development
  • Medication therapy management and patient counseling

Qualifications:
  • Education: 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, required. Doctorate of Pharmacy, preferred.
  • Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship, or two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy, required. Oncology experience strongly preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other approved certification must be obtained and continuously maintained within 2 years of start date as applicable to the role.
