Job Overview

Quik Travel Staffing is actively seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN specializing in Operating Room services for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive perioperative care to patients in recovery, procedural, and operating environments.
  • Ensure the operating room is properly sterilized and equipped with all essential supplies, instruments, and technology.
  • Monitor patient vitals and promptly report any adverse reactions.
  • Develop and execute individualized patient care plans for surgical candidates.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments to assigned patients.
  • Respond to medical emergencies as needed and notify the appropriate team members.
  • Exhibit flexibility to travel to various assignment locations.
  • Maintain availability to adhere to the facility's scheduling requirements.
  • Complete onboarding processes in a timely manner.
  • Adapt quickly to new settings while striving for the highest standards of patient care.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical nursing role.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Possess a current, valid RN license in good standing, or a compact state RN license if applicable.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • ACLS certification may be required.
