MEEC is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy of electrical project reports and designs submitted to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical power, low and medium voltage distribution systems, fire alarm, interior and exterior lighting, and grounding systems for various buildings.
- Prepare technical design and construction documents, including detailed system layout drawings.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into building designs.
- Coordinate work with utility companies and assess equipment for project specifications, cost, etc.
- Optimize designs for energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Normally requires a 4-year electrical engineering degree and 3-5 years of related experience.
- Considerable experience in utilizing computer software packages such as AutoCAD, Coordination Study, and Arc Fault Study Calculations.
Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000
