Job Title: Director of Embedded SoftwareJob Summary

ICONSTAFF is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director of Embedded Software to lead the development of next-generation devices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting and executing a game-changing software and firmware development roadmap, building the infrastructure to support rapid, high-quality releases, and mentoring and guiding a team of top-tier firmware and embedded software engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Craft and execute a comprehensive software and firmware development strategy
  • Build and maintain the infrastructure to support rapid, high-quality releases
  • Mentor and guide a team of experienced firmware and embedded software engineers
  • Collaborate with hardware teams to bring cutting-edge designs to life
  • Establish best-in-class workflows and quality assurance methodologies
  • Partner with hardware teams to select components that exceed customer expectations
  • Oversee documentation to ensure seamless team operations
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (Advanced degree a plus)
  • 12+ years of experience in embedded software/firmware engineering
  • 4+ years of leadership experience, guiding teams through successful product deployments
  • A proven track record in Agile methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills
