Salary:

$220,000 - $320,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Cardiac Physician to join our team at the VA Amarillo Health Care System. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, interpreting clinical data, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' medical histories, perform physical examinations, and gather relevant clinical data to determine appropriate care.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, Echocardiograms, and Nuclear stress testing.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Cardiovascular Medicine or related specialty.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a cardiac care unit or similar environment.
