Faculty Position in Clinical Forensic Psychology

The Department of Clinical Forensic Psychology at The Chicago School invites applications for full-time faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate level. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching courses related to the practice of Clinical Forensic Psychology, mentoring and advising graduate students, and contributing to curriculum design and departmental development.
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses in Clinical Forensic Psychology, including assessment and intervention techniques.
- Mentor and advise graduate students in their academic and professional development.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and departmental initiatives that align with the mission and strategic plan of The Chicago School.
- Monitor student learning outcomes and progress, and provide feedback to students.
- Serve on dissertation committees as a Chair or member, and provide guidance to students on their research projects.
- Interact and communicate effectively with a diverse population, including students, faculty, and staff.
- Engage in service-learning activities with faculty and students, and participate in outreach activities with community partners.
- Attend department faculty meetings, clinical program faculty meetings, and other meetings as required.
- Facilitate and engage in student recruitment activities, and promote the department's programs and services.
- Act in a way that embodies the mission, vision, and values of The Chicago School.
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Forensic Psychology or a closely related field.
- Licensed or license-eligible in the state of California (must be licensed within two years of employment).
- Evidence of teaching experience at the graduate level.
