Job Title: Behavior Management Specialist

Join the Children's Guild Inc. team as a Behavior Management Specialist and contribute to the development of a positive and supportive learning environment for students with special needs.

About the Role:

The Behavior Management Specialist will be responsible for providing behavioral support and interventions to students, as well as collaborating with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized behavior plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement behavioral interventions and support plans for students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized behavior plans
  • Provide behavioral support and interventions to students in a variety of settings
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral interventions and make adjustments as needed
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in a related field (e.g. special education, psychology, social work)
  • Experience working with students with special needs
  • Knowledge of behavioral interventions and support strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
