Key Responsibilities
  • Safely and proficiently operate all standard radiographic equipment.
  • Determine suitable exposure parameters and assess images for diagnostic quality.
  • Assist Radiologists and other healthcare professionals during procedures.
  • Communicate procedures clearly and monitor patients to ensure their safety and comfort during examinations.
  • Implement radiation safety protocols and utilize protective devices to adhere to regulations.
  • Exhibit proficiency in using the PACS computer system.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be a senior student enrolled in an accredited two-year Radiology Technology program recognized by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • High school diploma or GED.
