Job Title: Radiologic Technologist PRN- Tulsa

At the University of Oklahoma, we are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis in Tulsa. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality radiologic images to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate x-ray equipment to take radiologic films, ensuring quality images are provided to physicians.
  • Under the direction of a Radiologist, adjust equipment settings to correct for each examination and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time.
  • Position and instruct patients, arranging and attaching immobilization and supportive devices as needed.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines, preventing unnecessary exposure to patients.
  • Assist the Radiologist in teaching new Radiologic Technologists, students, and others.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or Certification in a Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Program.
  • 6 months clinical radiology experience.
  • Radiologic Technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) within 90 days of hire date.
  • BLS and CPR certification.
