About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Leader to join our team at Amazon Go in Puyallup, WA. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of retail associates, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert customer service by effectively using customer engagement strategies and modeling desired behavior for the team.
  • Train and develop retail associates in areas including product knowledge, product quality, and store operations.
  • Maintain a key to the store and open and close the store following proper procedures.
  • Support floor leader responsibilities, including providing peer-to-peer feedback, training, and deploying labor.
  • Participate in associate onboarding and interviews as required.
  • Ensure consistent execution of inventory workflow processes and guide associates as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the customer experience and store operations.
About Amazon Go

Amazon Go is a new kind of store with no checkout required. With Just Walk Out shopping, customers can get in and out quickly without scanning items or waiting in a checkout line. Our store offers a range of grab-and-go items, from delicious sandwiches and salads to everyday essentials.

Requirements
  • 1+ years of floor leader or leadership experience, or 1+ years of Amazon experience.
  • 3+ years of retail or customer-facing experience, or 1+ years of Amazon experience.
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in Amazon Physical Stores.
  • Experience managing inventory in a retail or distribution setting.
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience in training others.
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
