We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Roadside Service Operator to join our team at AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah Insurance Exchange. As a Roadside Service Operator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members by responding to roadside emergencies and performing various services such as towing, battery jump-starts, and fuel delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Drive and operate a service vehicle to respond to roadside emergencies and perform services such as towing, battery jump-starts, and fuel delivery.
- Interact with customers to establish rapport, build relationships, and provide excellent customer service.
- Utilize on-board computer, radio communications, and mapping systems to navigate and complete tasks efficiently.
- Complete daily paperwork, including call logs, battery invoices, and cash receipts.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Two years of experience in a customer contact role.
- Education and training in automotive repair or a related field.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certification preferred.
As a Roadside Service Operator, you will work outdoors in various weather conditions and traffic situations. You will be required to lift and carry tires and parts, weighing up to 50 pounds, several times a day. You will also be required to work in all weather conditions and traffic situations.
