About the Job Description

This role requires a highly empathetic and skilled individual to provide peer support and linkages to clients in a 24/7 Crisis Stabilization Center. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing outreach and connecting clients with vital services and resources.
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess crises and develop effective interventions.
  • Facilitating engagement and encouraging individuals to seek help and support.
  • Supporting clients in their recovery journey, helping them navigate treatment options.
  • Ensuring seamless care transitions and maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Peer Certification or the willingness to obtain certification.
  • Desirable: prior experience as a peer, paid or volunteer.
  • Relevant life experience, enabling you to connect with clients and inspire positive change.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
