Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Provide guidance and direction to Licensed Practical Nurses and Nurse Assistants, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Participate in departmental meetings and educational opportunities, staying up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and MercyOne standards.
- Support the hospital's mission and values, demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care and excellence in all aspects of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate from an accredited RN program required.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa required.
- Previous experience in acute care preferred, one year preferred.
