The County of Montgomery is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Record Coordinator to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, providing administrative support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including tracking expenses and revenues.
  • Provide administrative support to the Public Works Coordinator and technical staff, as needed.
  • Process payroll, track vacation and sick time, and reconcile accounts.
  • Prepare invoices, collect funds, and maintain inventory control of office supplies.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in finance or accounting.
  • Intermediate computer skills using MS Word, Excel, and other software programs.
  • Ability to read, interpret documents, and write routine reports.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle money.
Work Environment:

This is a moderate noise level work environment that requires sitting, using hands to handle objects, and occasional lifting of 25 pounds.
