Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team at Morris Adler Elementary. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students, creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Invest in the development of our students, creating engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to their unique needs and interests.
  • Implement our research-backed curriculum, ensuring that our students receive a world-class education that prepares them for success.
  • Partner with parents and center staff to provide exceptional care and support to our students and their families.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and community partners to promote a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Support the success of our center, working collaboratively with leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
Qualifications
  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
  • Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
  • Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
