Patient Care Technical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technical Assistant to join our team at Excela Health. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the RN/LPN staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient care needs, including vital sign collection, documentation, and reporting.
- Provide physical and dental care to patients, ensuring their hygiene and cleanliness are maintained.
- Transport patients to various departments and activities within the hospital.
You will also facilitate patient files and specimen transport, carry charts, supplies, and specimens between buildings, and organize runs to maximize efficient use of time. Additionally, you will assist patients with activities of daily living and ensure they receive necessary care and support.
Requirements- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Nurse Aide program or comparable training.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and communicate complex information to patients and staff.
