Job Summary
Nurse - Medical Progressive Care Unit (MPCU)

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Progressive Care Unit (MPCU) team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill adult patients with complex medical conditions.



Responsibilities

  • Manage a wide range of complex medical conditions, including but not limited to sepsis, respiratory failure, liver disease, renal disease, diabetic ketoacidosis, and alcohol withdrawal.
  • Care for patients on ventilators, administer vasoactive drips, and perform cardiac monitoring to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to all patients.
  • Participate in educational and professional growth opportunities to deepen your expertise and expand your skills.


Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred.
  • Active BLS via AHA, American Red Cross or Military Training Network at time of hire.
  • Active Maryland RN or Compact License at time of hire.
