About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to learn the steel, construction reinforcement and ground stabilization industries and to grow in your career.

As a Project Engineer, you will work with the operations team to define scope, develop budgets and schedule. You will design and/or supervise and coordinate detailed engineering for new construction and expansion projects.

You will complete designs and provide value engineering, develop construction specifications, bid packages, budget cost estimates, construction schedules, permitting, etc. as required to insure completion of projects on time and within budget.

You will develop, establish, and maintain engineering budgets, coordinate and account for any changes in scope of work, maintain accurate records and documentation for each project.

You will also have the ability to obtain a PE license in other states and travel as required.

Requirements
  • Registered professional engineer with active license, in good standing
  • Experience working on fast-track projects
  • Demonstrated experience and/or skills working on multiple projects of varied degrees of complexity at the same time
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with excellent work ethic, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Goal orientated
  • Proficient in MS Office programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint; Microsoft Project and experience with Project Management software preferred
Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited engineering college or university.
