Position Overview:

Constellation Technologies, Inc. is in search of a seasoned Systems Integration Engineer (SIE) with a TS/SCI polygraph clearance to assist our clients within the Intelligence Community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert guidance and support for the engineering of extensive systems, significant system components, and interconnected systems within a vast and intricate network framework featuring geographically dispersed elements.
  • Deliver technical advice and support for prospective system improvements and architectural design.
  • Revise and enhance System Engineering Documentation.
  • Conduct Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) or equivalent evaluative methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Program Management, System and Software Integration Engineers, Test Engineers, Information Assurance Engineers, and other project team members in an Agile setting.
  • Formulate and apply system engineering methodologies ensuring appropriate engineering rigor is maintained across all assigned responsibilities.
  • Engage in effective communication and collaboration with internal technical experts on a daily basis, and with representatives from client organizations as required.
  • Actively participate in program increment planning and associated Agile team initiatives.
Qualifications (Required):

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is essential.
  • Extensive experience in system integration is required.
  • Proficient in several key areas including system architecture, design and development, requirements analysis, data flow design/analysis, network design/implementation, testing, and technical system documentation.
  • A minimum of seven (07) years of experience in network design or foundational networking.
  • At least seven (07) years of experience in system architecture design, construction, and integration.
  • Seven (07) years of hands-on experience with infrastructure components such as Servers, Switches, Firewalls, and other Enterprise Infrastructure hardware.
  • Five (05) years of experience as a Senior Architect engaged in large, complex system architectures.
  • Five (05) years of practical experience in building and maintaining Windows and Linux systems (not limited to Help Desk/ticketing roles).
  • Experience in requirements verification traceability is necessary.
  • Proficient in analyzing user requirements, system architecture, and/or system requirements specifications.
  • Experience in discovery, research, and analysis for hardware and software transitions.
  • Ability to gather information related to the lifecycle of equipment and software.
  • Solid understanding of secure systems engineering and development practices.
  • Comfortable managing multiple systems and components concurrently in various configurations.
  • Effective planning and prioritization of tasks, with clear communication regarding technical options and trade-offs.
  • Capability to perform systems engineering activities in support of Agile teams on a large program.
  • Commitment to adopting, adhering to, and promoting best practices.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired):

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in System Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline with at least 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and software maintenance.
  • Experience in transitioning legacy systems into modern architectures.
  • Familiarity with model-based systems engineering.
  • Experience in risk management and maintaining a risk register.
  • Experience in tracking hardware assets and/or software licenses.
  • Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology or as a member of an Agile team.
