About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at Lee's Summit Medical Center. As a Medical Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for assessing acute changes in patients, monitoring and analyzing heart rhythms, and intervening in emergency situations.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor patients with acute medical conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, and neurological disorders.
  • Interpret ECGs and note arrhythmias, taking appropriate action to ensure patient safety.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current state of Missouri RN licensure required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months.
  • Previous clinical experience preferred.
