Job Purpose

The Golf Shop Assistant plays a critical role in providing excellent customer service to members and guests. This position is responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for customers, from check-in to checkout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchases and credit card transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Manage the reservation system and tee sheet demand management strategies
  • Maintain a clean and organized pro shop environment
  • Handle customer service issues in a prompt and effective manner
  • Provide leadership and support to other Golf Shop Assistants as needed
  • Ensure service continuity in the pro shop by maintaining a flexible work schedule
Requirements
  • Basic math skills and ability to write and communicate clearly
  • Experience handling customer service issues and cash transactions
  • High school diploma or GED
Working Conditions

This position requires flexibility and the ability to work a variety of schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The employee may be required to stand for long periods, walk, read, hear, talk, balance, climb, use hands, use fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, smell, taste, push or pull. The employee may be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Compensation

$19.50 per hour
