We are seeking an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer to join our team in Houston, TX. The ACNO will assist the CNO/COO in executive-level management, strategic planning, and policy development. This role has operational and functional responsibility for patient care areas and/or special projects. The ACNO will develop leadership, communication, and business skills to advance to a CNO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and managing the nursing services budget and ensuring sufficient staff to assess patient needs
  • Ensure continuous performance improvement initiatives measure and improve care quality, aligned with organizational priorities
  • Collaborate with patient care and support departments, fostering open communication and problem-solving
  • Manage costs by identifying opportunities and eliminating non-value costs
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Registered Nurse License (Texas Board of Nursing or Compact) without restrictions
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • 10 years of nursing experience, 4 years in a leadership role
