The Operations Manager for PMO will collaborate closely with the team director and managers to ensure a cohesive and consistent interface with the broader organization, maintain organization and focus on deliverables, and enable the director to concentrate on supporting and developing the management team.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive the creation of comprehensive reporting tools tailored to the needs of all PMO teams and oversee the company's ZQP planning process.
- Ensure the regular production of reports, including program updates, board meeting materials, and content for company presentations. Additionally, facilitate agendas, content preparation, and document notes and action items for executive and senior leadership meetings.
- Support the PMO director and team leaders with staff meetings, budget management, onboarding of new personnel, and announcements.
- Maintain documentation related to the company roadmap and goals. Ensure alignment among communications, strategy, finance teams, and executives.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of practical experience in product development, particularly in projects involving complex systems.
- Experience in direct interaction with corporate leaders and executives outside of your own department.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in presenting to diverse and large audiences.
- Ability to think critically, understand the broader context, and delve into details to extract key messages for an executive audience.
- Extensive experience with system architecture, safety-critical systems, corporate strategy, and/or testing and validation.
- Product development experience within an automotive company or a Tier 1 automotive OEM.
Compensation:
This position's compensation consists of three primary components: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this role is $180,000 to $230,000. A sign-on bonus may be included in the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Positioning within a level is determined by various factors, including relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range mentioned represents the levels Zoox is considering for this position.
Zoox also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off (e.g., sick leave, vacation, bereavement), unpaid time off, Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights, Amazon RSUs, health insurance, long-term care insurance, long-term and short-term disability insurance, and life insurance.
