Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of underwriters to achieve business objectives and improve underwriting processes
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to underwriters on complex commercial underwriting issues
  • Develop and implement underwriting strategies to improve profitability and reduce risk
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Monitor and analyze underwriting results to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • 4-year college degree or 4 years of experience in commercial underwriting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
  • Experience in commercial underwriting, ISO, and NCCI

We offer a competitive salary range of $93,000 to $154,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including profit-sharing, health benefits, parental and family leave, and more.
