Electrical and Software Test Engineer

Rogers Freels & Associates Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical and Software Test Engineer to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will work with state-of-the-art engineering tools and processes to develop and test electrical systems and software.
This position is associated with testing of electrical systems and software that control vehicle operation and functions. Testing methods include diagnostic troubleshooting, automated software testing, and full or partial machine testing.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to create electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts.
- Assist in the selection and integration of electrical components and equipment.
- Perform basic calculations and simulations to analyze electrical systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and providing technical support.
- Participate in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
- Support the development and improvement of electrical engineering processes and procedures.
- Follow industry standards, codes, and regulations in electrical design and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering technologies and practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical, Software, Computer Engineering or Related Field
- Ability to interpret software requirements, electrical schematics, and test plan documentation
- Experience with root cause analysis, machine troubleshooting, and diagnostics
- Experience with development and debugging tools (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, logic analyzers)
