Position Summary: The Packaging Production Specialist is an entry-level role focused on the effective packaging of materials and finished goods. This position involves loading, moving materials, and operating packaging machinery while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety protocols by utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain punctuality and comply with the work schedule.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by working effectively with team members.
  • Comply with General Manufacturing Policies to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
  • Keep the work area organized, clean, and tidy.
  • Monitor conveyor systems and resolve any bottle jams promptly.
  • Collect and sort dropped bottles from the production area.
  • Conduct quality inspections of bottles during various stages of production and packaging.
  • Report any abnormalities or quality issues immediately.
  • Manage inventory levels of packaging materials and restock as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate labeling and packaging according to customer specifications.
  • Transport finished products to designated locations.
  • Organize and set up workstations efficiently.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Compensation: Starting pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications:

  • Basic mathematical skills and computer proficiency are required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire is necessary.

Physical Requirements: The role requires frequent standing, walking, and the ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Work Environment: Employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and various manufacturing conditions.
