Position Overview

Legrand is pleased to announce an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Software Testing Intern to join our esteemed Building Control Systems Wattstopper Team. The intern will play a crucial role in evaluating software, hardware, and associated systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct firmware testing on various devices.
- Perform user interface evaluations.
- Develop and oversee test scenarios.
- Execute manual testing protocols.
- Identify and manage software defects.
- Provide technical support to teams, including Alpha and Beta testing groups.
- Engage in additional software testing tasks as needed.
- Utilize the Scrum Agile framework for software development.

Qualifications

Educational Background:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Computer Science or Engineering.

Experience:
- Familiarity with software, hardware, and networking is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) methodologies and practices.
- Ability to create and implement new testing scenarios.
- Experience in bug reporting and management.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.

Compensation:
$22.00 per hour.
