Job Summary:

The Film and Screen Studies Production Assistant - Equipment Coordinator will assist the FSS Lab and Equipment Manager in maintaining the inventory and organization of film equipment for students and faculty. This includes cameras, lenses, lights, sound equipment, and other related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the check-out and check-in of film equipment to students and faculty.
  • Manage inventory records of all equipment check-outs and check-ins.
  • Ensure equipment is organized and clean before and after check-outs.
  • Troubleshoot and minor equipment problems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized equipment room.
  • Provide technical support to students and faculty with using the equipment.

Requirements:

  • Work-Study Eligible Only.
  • Strong knowledge of film equipment, including cameras, lenses, lights, and sound equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
