Swim Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team at the City of Loveland. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching, supervising, and testing children and adults in our swim lesson program. You will work under the direction of the Aquatics Specialist to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

• Teach and supervise swim lessons to children and adults
• Test and evaluate participants to ensure they meet the necessary skill levels
• Assist with registration and administrative tasks
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
• Provide excellent customer service to participants and their families

• Swim Instructor certification or equivalent experience
• Ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• First Aid and CPR certification
• Experience working with children and adults with special needs
• Knowledge of water safety and emergency procedures
