Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

LCMC Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. This includes performing technical aspects of diagnostic ultrasound and producing images of internal organs. You will also be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, reviewing physician orders, and maintaining equipment and exam rooms in a safe and clean condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and produce high-quality images of internal organs
- Monitor patient vital signs and review physician orders
- Maintain equipment and exam rooms in a safe and clean condition
- Provide excellent patient care and communication
Requirements
- Eligible for Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support Health Care Provider certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
