We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Assembly Specialist to join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates will excel in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong communication abilities.
Position Overview:
The Senior Mechanical Assembly Specialist plays a crucial role in Xometry's on-site product assembly, requiring a candidate with substantial expertise in electro-mechanical assembly and the testing of completed products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mechanical assembly of subassemblies and final products
- Perform testing on both subassemblies and final products
- Interpret assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation
- Proactively identify and resolve issues in collaboration with relevant teams to maintain an efficient production schedule
- Actively participate in Process Improvement Teams
- Carry out additional tasks as required
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable manufacturing setting
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and mechanical schematics
- Desirable skills include proficiency in metalworking/machine shop practices, as well as basic PCA (Printed Circuit Assembly) rework and wire soldering, though not mandatory
