Drywall Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Project Manager to join our team at Robins and Morton Construction. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for planning, assisting, and supporting our project team in activities related to concrete Self-Perform projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and comprehend all contract documents.
- Assist with management of the subcontractor/general contractor/owner billing process.
- Prepare correspondence and communication for pending items, logs, and other management issues as necessary.
- Assist and support project team in managing all profit, time, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives on multiple concurrent projects.
- Provide support to the project team and Drywall Superintendent to maintain owner, project team, and designer and client relationships.
- Assist in development and execution of the change order process and the execution of change orders with the owners and subcontractors.
- Manage all material procurement for the project as coordinated with project team.
- Manage the closeout of assigned projects.
- Support project team in all job activities in accordance with Robins and Morton's policies and procedures, specifically those related to project management and within the bounds of the project contract.
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering is preferred, but can be substituted with experience.
- Minimum of ten years in construction-related drywall experience and/or training.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contract documents, safety standards, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to establish professional, trusting, and meaningful relationships with Clients, Designers, and Robins and Morton staff.
- Ability to work effectively with subcontractors/vendors and authorities having jurisdiction.
- Must have excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office Programs; working knowledge of Timberline Cost Reporting preferred; working knowledge of Prolog or other type of Project Management software preferred.
- Knowledge of all facets of turnkey concrete construction.
- Ability to manage and take responsibility for the success of an independent project up to $25M or any size portion of a larger project under the supervision of a Senior Superintendent or Operations Manager.
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical/plumbing and electrical systems for coordination of your work.
- Must be able to assume responsibility for entire drywall project as assigned.
