Job Description

At Sanders Industries Holdings, we are seeking a skilled Metal Welder to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for welding production hardware, tooling, fixturing, and production molds.

Job Accountabilities:

• Perform a variety of welding and fitting tasks that meet company and departmental objectives.
• Provide supporting tasks for the machine shop and production molding as workloads dictate, including drilling & tapping, sawing polishing, and burning of steel shapes and details.
• Weld-prep by sawing, and hand grinding for a good weld fitup to produce quality welds by the Mig & Tig processes.
• Welding dexterity including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum in predominately the one G position and six G position.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.

Job Specifications:

Education: Requires a High School Diploma/GED or combination of relevant education and work experience may be substituted to meet educational requirements only.

Years' Experience: 4-6 years of directly related experience in addition to formal training.

• Preferably four to six years of directly related experience in addition to formal training.
• ASME Certification is required.

Skills:

• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous AWS certification preferred.
• Previous experience building ASME Products.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques.
• Able to read and understand mechanical drawings and weld prints.
• Strong shop math skills.
• Ability to solve problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

• 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Overtime as needed
