Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Echocardiographer to join our team at The Medical Center of Aurora. As an Echocardiographer, you will be responsible for operating medical diagnostic imaging machines to take images of a patient's heart, analyzing wall motion, valvular function, and kinesis of the heart, and assisting with stress testing and other non-invasive cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Calibrate and operate echocardiography machines to record and assess heart function
  • Assist with stress testing and other non-invasive cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing procedures
  • Develop and implement plans for patient care and treatment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Minimum one year technical training in an approved AMA/ACCA Sonographer Program with a Certificate of Completion
  • Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Sonographer and BLS certification required
  • Minimum one year of recent Hospital or Clinical experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of 12 Lead EKG interpretation
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
