Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Program Manager to join our team at United Pacific. As a key member of our Food Service Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the retail execution of food service, dispensed beverages, and QSR concepts for the western region.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, preferably in the convenience or retail industry, with experience in managing QSR concepts. They will have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all food service operations, including QSR concepts, comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ensuring retail locations maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service, with a focus on consistency in program offerings.
  • Guiding and mentoring district leaders and store managers on food preparation, safety, and customer service best practices.
  • Partnering with operational leadership to develop and implement action plans to address underperforming stores.
  • Analyzing sales and financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products, including QSR-specific ingredients and supplies.
  • Gathering and analyzing customer feedback to continuously improve food service offerings and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Working with category management to identify capital expenditure requirements to support the expansion of food service programs and overseeing the implementation of approved capex projects.
  • Assessing the profitability of proprietary programs and developing action plans to optimize performance.
  • Documenting recipes, processes, and procedures of proprietary food programs.
  • Conducting market research and analyzing customer trends to inform menu development and optimization.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently strive to exceed expectations. They will have excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to convey ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences.
