Job Summary

MPTN Government is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with refills, interpreting prescriptions, and filling prescription orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with refills and interpret prescriptions
  • Enter prescription information into the computer and print prescription labels
  • Fulfill prescription orders by measuring and counting medications
  • Operate a Point of Sale system
  • Troubleshoot insurance prescription claim rejections
  • Provide excellent customer service to walk-in and satellite customers
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience
  • Basic computer data entry skills
  • Ability to pass a math test
  • Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) status
Working Conditions

The employee must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
