Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician with MPTN Government, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail pharmacy. Under the supervision of a Senior Pharmacy Technician and/or Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will assist customers with refills, interpret prescriptions, and enter prescription information into our computer system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with refills and interpret prescriptions
  • Enter prescription information into the computer system
  • Print prescription labels and fill prescription orders
  • Troubleshoot insurance prescription claim rejections
  • Assist walk-in and satellite customers with a friendly and professional demeanor
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to two years of retail pharmacy experience
  • Basic computer data entry skills
  • Ability to pass a math test
  • Preferred: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) status
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
