This position will involve working on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), traffic signal, tolling, and managed lanes projects throughout the country. You will have the opportunity to work on a hybrid schedule with both in-office and remote days.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform engineering design services throughout the project life-cycle, from concept through construction.
- Work with lead engineers and other disciplines to prepare appropriate designs, as dictated by the scope of work.
- Lead the design of specific tasks and analyze moderate to complex design problems.
- Provide direction to younger staff and develop engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Communicate with clients on task-oriented issues and project-related updates.
- Participate in projects by completing tasks within schedule and budget.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil or Electrical preferred) or relevant discipline.
- Professional Engineer license preferred (at a minimum, you should be on the path to obtain P.E. licensure).
- 4-8 years' experience working in a relevant field.
- Expertise with CADD and MS Office.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Some experience with management of project tasks.
