Johnson & Johnson is seeking a skilled Transportation Category Specialist to join our Global Procurement & Logistics Team in New Brunswick, NJ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies to support our business segments worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of key procurement focus areas related to supplier management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze complex information. You will work closely with Category Leads to achieve annual value improvements and enhance competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of the Procurement vision, collaborating with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, innovation, and cost efficiency, and meeting commitments related to financial performance, service delivery, and growth.

Johnson & Johnson offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $76,000 to $121,000, and an annual performance bonus. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Procurement vision in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Category Leads to achieve annual value improvements and enhance competitive advantage.
  • Directly engage with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, innovation, and cost efficiency.
  • Meet commitments related to financial performance, service delivery, and growth.
  • Cultivate relationships with strategic suppliers through data analysis, performance management, and enhancing the overall value chain.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or University equivalent, required with a concentration in Supply Chain, Engineering, Life sciences or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant working experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of key Procurement focus areas related to Supplier Management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present complex information.
  • Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving capabilities.
