Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technologist to join our team at Cynet Health. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing direct patient cardiac diagnostic testing procedures with the highest level of skill and accuracy.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing echocardiogram studies, including Transthoracic 2D, M-Mode, Colorflow Doppler, Transesophageal, Exercise stress, and pharmacological echocardiography
  • Providing agespecific care to patients of all ages and serving as a professional resource to physicians, nursing staff, and other hospital staff
  • Accurately accessing hospital information systems for scheduling, processing, and correct charging of all studies
  • Implementing appropriate infection control practices and demonstrating a working knowledge of aseptic techniques and equipment disinfection
  • Interacting with students from contracted colleges and universities, providing preceptorship and clinical guidance as per contracted agreements
  • Fulfilling all other duties assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities

Experience with both pediatric and neonatal echocardiography in a hospital setting is preferred. Completion of a certificate program in Cardiovascular Sonography is also preferred.
