Job Summary

The Accounting Clerk II plays a vital role in supporting the accounting and financial functions within the Finance department at Bozeman Health. This position is responsible for processing daily deposits, reconciling accounts, and assisting with treasury reconciliations, among other key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process daily deposits and reconcile accounts
  • Assist with treasury reconciliations and other financial activities
  • Support the preparation of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Provide backup support for payroll and treasury functions
  • Perform other assigned projects and duties to support the Finance department
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Two (2) years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (if High School diploma or equivalent)
  • One (1) year of bookkeeping/accounting experience (if Associate degree in Accounting)
  • Preferred: Three (3) years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
Essential Job Functions

In addition to the essential functions listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.

  • Treasury back-up
  • Other assigned projects and duties to support the Finance department

Schedule Requirements

This role requires regular and sustained attendance. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.
