As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist, you will have the opportunity to provide both inpatient and outpatient coverage, working closely with the multidisciplinary care team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nutrition care plans for patients, utilizing a strong working knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process and nutrition standards of care for inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Participate in performance improvement and outcome measurement initiatives, driving quality and excellence in patient care.
  • Collaborate with the care team to provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
  • Mentor and train dietetic interns, fostering the development of future nutrition professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of clinical nutrition.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or related field, with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Eligibility for registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and registration within 120 days of hire.
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
