Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform systems support activities, including platform enhancements and platform engagements.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support systems outside of normal business hours.
  • Follow documented procedures in the code migration process to ensure service availability and best practices.
  • Implement and use best practices for platform maintenance, stability, troubleshooting, upgrades, and clone downs.
  • Ensure overall systems availability through good understanding of monitoring tools, thorough troubleshooting, and code migration discipline.
  • Work with Capability Owners and Platform Customers to translate business challenges into actionable operational tasks.
  • Proactively stay on top of new capabilities in the platform and educate team members and customers.
  • Assist other Software Engineers on Scrum teams with accuracy of estimates, comprehension of tasks, and peer reviews of completed work.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level Operations Engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new software engineering resources.
